Long live the originals

Denmark is world-renowned for its superb design. Our furniture classics from Wegner, Børge Mogensen, Arne Jacobsen and others are respected and admired design icons around the world. Such exclusive design furniture is often subject to plagiarism and copying. The furniture industry takes such infringements very seriously and rightfully takes legal action to protect its interests. In some countries it is actually legal to copy a piece of design furniture and even manufacture it in a quality far inferior to that of the original. Regrettably, the kitchen sector is no exception…

Designed by Arne Munch in 1968, uno form’s original and highly distinctive C-series kitchen has been – and continues to be copied in a design that is often very close to the original. Many kitchen manufacturers have drawn inspiration from the original uno form kitchen’s solid wood slats with their hidden handle and the profiled solid wood frame of the actual unit carcase.

The superior quality offered by an original uno form product is the result of generations of experience in the production of exclusive kitchens. This ensures you supreme durability and daily pleasure when working in the kitchen. And you can take comfort in the fact that you are the owner of Denmark’s original design kitchen, increasing the value of your home. It is not uncommon to see house advertisements highlighting uno form kitchens or bathrooms as a value-adding feature of the home. Nor, unfortunately, is it uncommon to also see references to a uno form product which in fact is a cheaper imitation product. You are always welcome to contact us if you are in doubt as to whether the house you have bought – or are about to buy –does in fact contain an original uno form kitchen.

We will do everything in our power to determine the product’s authenticity.
