- your guarantee of high quality
Buying new furniture is a question of trust, especially as internationalisation has led to the import of furniture from all over the world. This has made it harder for consumers to ensure that the furniture they buy is of a sufficiently high quality. Unless you are an expert, judging the quality of a given piece of furniture can be difficult.
Furniture carrying the Danish Furnituremakers’ Quality Control label guarantees that a piece of furniture is of the highest quality, i.e. that the requirements for materials and production methods meet the highest standards, also in terms of the strength, safety and durability of the furniture.
The Danish Furnituremakers’ Quality Control – the world’s oldest control organisation for furniture – was established in 1959, and its members include leading Danish manufacturers of quality furniture.
The association’s objective is to guarantee the production of quality furniture in Denmark.
This objective is guaranteed through a set of requirements for materials, production methods and products – the Technical Protocol – combined with random inspection visits to member companies.
